<p>A few redesigns later, the JBG Companies and Shalom Baranes Architects have received approval from Washington DC&#8217;s Historic Preservation Review Board (HPRB) to move forward with their redevelopment of the Whitman-Walker Clinic headquarters at 1800-1818 14<sup>th</sup> Street, NW into a 130-unit residential project</p>
<p>Slowly but surely we are seeing exciting change in Logan on 14th st. NW. I myself live on Church st. NW between 14th and 15th. Im very excited everyday when i see something new. Its an exciting time in Logan, we are the new hotspot. Look for all the new exciting real and eateries to come.</p>

<p>The ever-changing plans for the site of the former Central Union Mission will go before Zoning this month for an extension to an approval granted in May 2008. The project will sit directly across the street from a planned <a href="http://dcmud.blogspot.com/2010/02/that-new-condo-smell-coming-soon-to.html">seven-story residential </a>development, each hugging their respective corners on 14th and R Streets NW. Developer Jeffrey Schonberger of Alturas Real Estate Interest planned a mixed-use retail and residential project, then an office building, and most recently for a large-scale retail space once rumored to have caught the eye of CB2 (Crate and Barrel&#8217;s &#8220;cheaper&#8221; offspring).
